The Uncharted Society Visits Alaska
It’s been a year since we got to show the Uncharted Society our backyard, ride around on the trails we love, and share excitement with off road enthusiasts on all that Alaska has to offer! The Uncharted Society features some of the best motorsport outfitters in the world. We love being a part of their community and aiding in their purpose to explore the land in memorable ways. Now come along on the adventure with us!
ATVing Through Beautiful Alaska
It was a classic spring day in Alaska with clouds and a little rain. That didn’t stop us from cruising through rivers, exploring at overlooks only our Uncharted Experience can reach, and having a toasty fire by the glacier! Rain only brings more fun as you huddle together to take in the sights and splash through bigger puddles along the way.
Dan and Matti were interviewed by the Uncharted Crew about the tours they run and why they are so passionate about giving people the best experience. Then it was time to gear up, hop in side by sides and on some ATVs, and head out for a day of adventure!
We were lucky enough to be joined by Dani, @girl.in.alaska and her husband Sam for the ride. After a quick safety briefing, we wove through the forests in search of adventure. We rode through mud holes, crossed creeks, and the group crushed the bigger river crossings on their CanAm Maverick X3s and CanAm ATVs.
Once we reached the glacier everyone had big smiles on their faces and the machines were splattered with silt. This is the sign of a good time in Alaska!
The deep blue of the ice really popped thanks to the clouds overhead. The ice reflected in the calmness of the lake, and the clouds began to lift to show off the surrounding mountains. It was a beautiful welcome for some folks that had traveled so far for this incredible experience.
We built a fire so we could all warm up a bit and reflect on how fun the ride out was. After fueling up and taking in the views, it was time to head back to the office. The adventure doesn’t stop when you reach the glacier – on the way back we were treated to splashy water crossings and fun sand dunes to ride up on. Our ride through the backcountry offers so much unique terrain!
