Nelchina Glacier is a must see in person when visiting Alaska. Alaska Backcountry Adventure Tours offers amazing guided snowmobile adventures that take you right up in person to the glacier!
This is a beautiful ride to the Nelchina Glacier. We begin at trailhead near Eureka, AK and ride about 60 miles roundtrip. You will experience trail riding, riding on a river, and “playing” in the wide open spaces of Alaska . Near the glacier you will get to walk around, enjoy the scenery, and take gorgeous pictures. As always you have the chance to see some wildlife (usually Moose, Bald Eagles, and Ptarmigan).
After a snack at the glacier we will head back to Eureka for a delicious dinner before heading back to Palmer.
